Our events are open to guests and future members. Our monthly luncheons are on the last Wednesday of the month with the exception of our holiday lunch event. Our annual scholarship luncheon is our keynote event of the year and takes place in April. Corporate sponsors will occasionally host after-hours events. Check this page often for updates.     Meet our panel!

    ROCK - Ride on Center for Kids has provided equine-assisted activities and therapies to children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities since 1998.

    Karah Powell has been the Development Director at ROCK-Ride On Center for Kids since 2017. She oversees the financial stability and growth of ROCK's fundraising and donor development programs. Karah has lived in Round Rock since 1996 and is a proud mom of 3, grandmother of 5, and great-grandmother of 1.


    CASA of Williamson County exists to empower community volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect to find loving, safe, and permanent homes.

    Amy Saenz is the Director of Recruitment and Education and an Advocacy Program Manager at CASA. She is responsible for recruiting, screening, and training community members to serve as the guardian ad litem for children in foster care. Amy is a native of Georgetown and proud parent to an 11 year old.


    The Round Rock Area Serving Center carries out a community-wide mission to serve human needs in southern Williamson County. The Serving Center assists 1,100 households per month.

    Lori Scott has been the Executive Director of RRASC since 2000. She oversees services including a food pantry, community gardens, Computers for Kids, a charity thrift store, financial assistance programs, and a temporary shelter. Lori and her husband of 42 years have lived in Round Rock for 29 years and have 3 grown children.


    The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is devoted to providing a safe haven, with compassionate and humane treatment, for the lost and unwanted pets in Williamson County. 

    Misty Valenta serves as the Shelter Director after previous roles overseeing marketing, media, fundraising, the volunteer and foster programs, community events, and rescue/shelter partnerships. She currently lives in Austin with her husband, children, and her 3 furry canine kids.

    Meet our Moderator!

    Rachelle Grossman is a lifelong communications professional. She began in a small town in West Virginia and went on to host Good Morning Tennessee before landing in Raleigh, NC, with several stops along the way. She is the current owner and publisher of a digital and print marketing company operating 2 local magazines serving Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Georgetown. She is also a corporate marketing consultant and host of social media talk show, Real Time Round Up with Rachelle. 

    Outside of work, Rachelle enjoys running along Brushy Creek Trail, volunteering, and travelling to new lands with her husband and three teenagers.
